I needed a replacement for my fancy with multiple temperature setting water kettle. That one cost a lot and had flaws, so I didn’t want to pay too much for another water kettle. I honestly got this one because of the very reasonable price. In short, it works very well. It heats the water very fast and it didn’t have a weird metal taste even for the first few pots. I like that it’s plastic outside the stainless steel, so I don’t accidentally touch it and burn myself when it’s hot. Some minuses include the button on the lid and the on/off switch feel very flimsy. Also, it takes a couple of tries to put it back on the stand, so not sure if it’ll damage the heating element over time. However, for the price, I will be very happy if it works for a couple of years.

I bought this electric kettle because I wanted a different alternative at work. The people I work with like to shut the button off on our water warmer, then it takes 20 minutes to warm up the water. Here’s my pros and cons: Pros: 1) it’s pretty. I love the blue light and the water bubbles! 2) it warms up to a perfect temperature for my tea. 3) there’s an audible click when the water is done heating up. 4) there is a little filler screen at the spout. Cons: 1) it takes approximately 10 minutes to heat up. Not a big deal, just longer than I expected. 2) the handle gets pretty hot near the bottom. You just have to adjust your grip a little bit. 3) the lid doesn’t open fully. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, or maybe it’s defective, but not sure how I’ll wash it. Overall, I love this little guy and I would recommend it.

This kettle can bring the water to boil quickly, with an audible click and turns off automatically when done. The blue lights are on during the boiling and also go out when done. The pouring is easy, not dribbling and the handle guards effectively from the heat. Sine the lid is attached, will likely have to clean with vinegar and water, since hard to reach in. Agree with other positive reviews.
